Online Courses

Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa is at the forefront of Buddhist centers and educational institutions in making the Dharma accessible to people whose family and work responsibilities make it impossible to attend an onsite program. The Institute's online programs are based on state-of-the-art technology that makes them simple for everyone to access; all that is needed is a computer and an internet connection.

On-line courses offered by the Institute include:

• the introductory level Buddhism in a Nutshell and Meditation 101 (in Italian),

• the intermediate level Discovering Buddhism (in Italian), and

• the advanced level Basic Program and Masters Program (in English and Italian).

These online ourses consist in video and/or audio recordings of weekly classes, audio recordings of guided meditations, reading materials, weekly quizzes, and other supplementary study materials. A forum allows students to discuss their doubts and questions with the tutor and fellow students. Exams take place at regular intervals, and students who meet all the program requirements qualify to receive an FPMT certificate.
